  1. Hey bro, love this one. But the pipeline- boo! Not a marvel in my opinion- more like a bunch of energy that should have gone into something a little less intrusive… caused the rushing of the passage of ANCSA, the complete destruction of Nuiqsuit’s way of life (and other communities and animals), caused 80% increase in asthma and other respiratory illnesses in communities near Prudhoe Bay, has helped create a culture of near complete dependence on oil, along with helping to foster the illusion (since our state is so big) that this development is not having disastrous impacts which are causing our culture to continue its coarse of” going against the wind”… 🙂 But it does show what humans are capable of- a lot of energy and mindpower went into that engineering, so it gives me faith that we can do it in a more sustainable manner. I love the pic and your photography and YOU!!!! Sorry, just had to put in my opinion, ya know me. LOVES! xo

    • Very true indeed. It is sad that it is there. I really want to know what they have planned for it when the oil is gone. Do you know if they are required to remove/reuse/scrap/salvage, any of it? Something Meagan and I had wondered since it is already past it’s expected lifespan. The pipeline itself not just the oil reserve.

  2. Hey boyo~ i’m not sure. good question. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pics of the leaves on the water. possibly my faves. i might have to purchase them here after my next paycheck!! 🙂
