Growing up in Fairbanks, AK it was easy for me to see the beauty and wonder of the natural world. The way the sun casts such delicate light at 1 a.m. in the middle of summer or how during the bleakest moments in winter the sky still holds the same warmth and color as if it were untouched by the -40 degrees F that surrounds it. By being immersed by these displays I began to wish I could capture the essence of those moments to share.  Naturally I turned to photography and have been trying to perfect my goal ever since.

I don’t simply strive to create wonderful landscapes but extend my passion to creating interesting moments caught in time. Whether that be a portrait of a friend or a musical group, a small gesture from a beloved pet, or an entire atmosphere created from a gathering of people or event.
